Biography and Exhibitions
Louis-Georges Alaterre was born in Chateaudun (Eure-et-Loire), French school. Student of Cormon, he has his studio at Montparnasse, 9 rue Falguière (15th) in 1923. He exhibits at the Salon des Independants in 1926 and 1938 and became a member of the Association of French Landscapers. His perspectives and plans are reminiscent of the Master of this movement André Dunoyer de Segonzac, even if his pictorial treatment differs. A serene look at the service of a personal interpretation, but always objective and lucid.
