I present you this watercolor on paper dating from 1945 by Georges LESECQ. Originally from Nîmes, Georges Lesecq was famous for painting his hometown and its surroundings. The day falls, this is a view of the Pissevin district that has changed today. The colors transcribe this poetic moment of the day, all shades perfectly rendered

It is also necessary to say that the work is superior to the photo which was not simple to realize

with frame: 43.5x60.5 cm - 17.1x23.8 inches

without framet: 31.5x48 cm - 12.4x18.9 inches

The work is located at the bottom left "Couchant Pissevin 1945" and signed lower right "Georges LESECQ 1945"

The condition is very good, some discreet dots in the sky
