The condition is excellent!

In this remarkable work, Roger Halbique breaks with his sensual representations of Moroccan landscapes to join the Poetic Reality movement emerging in Paris in the 50s. This movement led by painters like Maurice Brianchon, Christian Caillard, Jules Cavaillès, Raymond Legueult, Roger Limouse, Roland Oudot, André Planson and Kostia Terechkovitch.

In 1949, appeared the book by Gisèle d'Assailly: With the painters of the Poetic Reality, thus baptizing an informal group of friends painters bound by a certain form of artistic expression. These eight painters were brilliant representatives of French art of this period and their production was recognized very early on, benefiting from prestigious artistic prizes and numerous public commissions. Their paintings testify to a passion for color and refer to a sensitive world translated by a very poetic figuration.

Roger Halbique joins here this ideal of goodness, colors and feelings. With brio !
