Here is what Dex Hannon says about this artwork; "The chaos of the modern family unit, dysfunction is normal. Everyone has a problem. Nobody has a solution. This painting is totally on its own. Different from the rest of my paintings, Dis-Funk-Shun stands alone both for the technique used and the concept it conveys. A piece that was created in silence. The energies where found listening to the streets outside the studios. Created with dripped paint on black canvas. I wanted it to feel aimless discordant and dysfunctional."
