FERNAND MAJOREL

Fernand Majorel, painter and sculptor from Lyon was first of all a pupil of Bonnardel and Morizot at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He painted mainly worldly portraits, delicate nudes, but also landscapes (E.Bénézit, Editions Gründ, 60rue Mazarine, Paris, 1976, vol. # 7, page # 108).
